What's included in the download? The download includes the complete EDGARsuite™ software and documentation for end-users and network users. You may select the type of license when you buy the software. How does the downloading work? When you click the download link we give you, your browser asks you if you wish to Open the file or Save it to your disk. -
If you choose Open, the file is downloaded to your computer and installation starts immediately. -
If you choose Save, the file is saved on your computer in a directory of your choice; you may run this file at a later time to install the software. Are there any limitations in the downloaded software? The download gives you the complete and fully functional EDGARsuite™ except that it starts in the trial mode. In this mode you can use and evaluate all features of the software, ensure compatibility with your documents and financials, create filings, and perform validation. This lets you fully evaluate all functions of the software prior to purchase. You cannot make live filings in trial mode. ASCII and HTML filings produced in trial mode contain some spelling errors, and XBRL filings produced in trial mode can be read only by EDGARxbrl™. These limitations are removed once you purchase the software. How can I instantly purchase the downloaded copy? To purchase the software, all you have to do is pay for it.
