HTML Filings: With EDGARsuite™, you can easily create SEC filings in HTML - the most common filing format at this time.

ASCII Filings: EDGARsuite™ also lets you easily create ASCII filings. The SEC still requires some form types to be submitted in ASCII format.

Full-featured ASCII filing capability

Although HTML is the most common filing format at this time, some users may prefer the ASCII format for various reasons, and some filings (such as Form 13F-HR and 13F-NT) are accepted only in ASCII format. EDGARsuite™ includes complete support for ASCII filings via its EDGARwiz™ component, which accurately creates such filings directly from Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentations, WordPerfect documents, MS Works documents/spreadsheets and many other sources. Besides being the fastest EDGARizer available (exceeding 25 pages per second), the EDGARized files require little or no touching up thanks to its high accuracy. It automatically takes care of all the SEC restrictions related to ASCII filings, such as:

  • Line length limitations (80 characters, 132 characters in tables)

  • Text wrapping

  • Condensing tables to fit within the 132-character line length, if possible

  • Automatic insertion of required tags such as <TABLE>, <S>, <C>, <CAPTION> and others
